Hello! I’m Poi Sensei, a board-certified ophthalmologist from Japan, specializing in neuro-ophthalmology, corneal infection, uveitis, and ocular optics.
I created this platform to help young ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, and eye care professionals better understand topics that are often considered “difficult”—like visual field interpretation, neuro-ophthalmology, and strabismus.
With years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and writing, my mission is clear:
- 🧠 Turn complexity into clarity.
- 🎓 Bridge the gap between theory and practice.
- ✍️ Deliver knowledge in a way that sticks.
📘 What I Do
- Medical Education: I teach students preparing for Japan’s national medical exams and ophthalmology board certification.
- Seminars & Lectures: I organize online seminars that attract hundreds of participants, with a focus on making complex topics digestible.
- English Expansion: I’m now translating my educational content into English to share ophthalmology knowledge with a global audience.
